Receptionist / Van Driver (part time)
Job Code: 2008-39 Location: San Jose, CA GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION: Provides reception duties, e.g. phone
answering, copying, mail distribution for the ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responds to phone inquiries and requests of clients/public to meet with the program staff. · Performs office duties as required, phone calls, copying, faxing, message taking, copying documents · Drives the program van to transport older adult clients to medical appointments and potential day program activities according to program standards. · May assist clients with learning how to use OUTREACH. QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Required knowledge, skills & abilities: · Basic typing skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and other software · Excellent telephone response skills, particularly with older adults and individuals with diverse backgrounds and languages · Knowledge of community culture, attitudes, services and resources · Bi-lingual Spanish, Vietnamese and or Mandarin skills, preferred · Passage of commercial driver’s license exam required · Commercial driver’s license · Typing skills, Microsoft Word, Excel · Automobile liability insurance 2) Minimum educational level: · High school education or employment experience and education with knowledge of community cultures and ability to read and write English TO APPLY: Please submit resume to jobs@ccsj.org or via fax to 408-944-0276 attn: HR For over 50
